WeHaveWeNeed.org was a donation management system created in support of the Haiti Crisis. Initially this was developed as a stand-alone system where people could post their “Haves” and others could post their “Needs”. While this is a workable approach, it has become clear that there are other donation management systems which WeHaveWeNeed.org should be interacting with. The purpose of the WeHaveWeNeed problem definition is to transform the WeHaveWeNeed codebase to allow communication and aggregation of existing donation management content, and content.
Transform WeHaveWeNeed.org codebase to take in needs and haves from existing donation management systems like Sahana.org, and then, once a “match” is made (the pairing of a Need with a Have), send the resultant matched pair back to the system of origin (such as Sahana.org in this example) for the order fulfillment function.
