[edit] Twitter Search Project Page

This widget is designed to be used with the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex v2 to monitor tweets from a specific geographic area, and filter on specific key words. It also has the ability to send tweets and geo-enabled tweets.

It was originally developed during RHoK #0 to assist during large scale disasters and was deployed during the Haiti earthquake to monitor tweets being sent from within the affected region. Since then it has been adopted and deployed by numerous emergency response agencies.
