We’re telling stories (or perhaps helping visitors to our site to uncover their own stories) of development and humanitarian work around the world. We’re using data from the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) database and some clever web technologies to visualise initiatives across the world and over time.
Our current user stories illustrate the answer to questions such as “What type of effort is taking place where?”, “What’s its impact?”, “How is the nature of work changing over time?”
Later iterations may bring in rich media (photos, video) to help illustrate the stories.
