[edit] Landslide Risk Reduction - Saint Lucia

If you had 1 million dollars to spend stopping landslides, where would you spend it? How would you find potential landslides? Which drainage methods would you use to prevent the landslide?

In the Rhok 2.0 problem definition, we're addressing the drainage methods and management level needs of landslide prevention. For the Rhok 1.0 problem definition, we addressed finding high risk areas and we are upgrading the existing solution based on user feedback.

[edit] Developer Setup Guide

To get up and Rhoking quickly, Rhok 1.0 used/uses the following tech stack:

  1. Eclipse For PHP Developers
    1. Click on New --> Project
    2. SVN --> Checkout from SVN
    3. Create new repository location
    4. svn url: https://chasm-rhok.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/
      • if you do not have a google code login, or need to be authorized to chasm, look in the contact info section for the problem you want to work on.
    5. All commits appear here after a few minutes
  2. Xampp for Localhost Website Development - follow the readme, it's quite good.
    • mysql is not used or needed, just leave it turned off after installation
  3. C# for Desktop Visualization Application Development
