  • I enjoyed our work and interacting with the other talented people in the room. All the presentations were impressive and I hope there is some backing to developing a real time system to coordinate relief activities on the ground. I think RHoK is a wonderful idea and I am willing to help so that it continues from many more years (Mrigesh Kshatriya).

[edit] Winner

The Winner of this year's Jakarta RHoK is Team Takdir and Wa Ode Zuhayeni Madjida with their Disaster Streaming tool that can put SMS, photos, YouTube clips or live webcam streaming on a web map. This ingenious contribution was designed to answer two questions: How can people and disaster managers get information on disasters; and how can people provide information on disasters. The Jakarta RHoK community voted this the winner of our event.

Great job team!
