We will be hosting our project (source at www.accoladesys.com) as well as codeplex. Both actual links will be posted later.
We will also be modifying parts of this project and entering for FEMA/DHS entry.
All times are in CST Local.
1200 - We found a topic we can live with
1600 - Android Frontend Layout is done.
1700 - Windows Phone 7 layout is started.
2000 - Going back home for a quick break
2230 - Taking a break for 30 minutes
2300 - Android Frontend is redesign to make it look the same as WP7 -- Unified look -- bah!!! it'll at least match... even opensource code needs loving.
0100 - Started working on PPT
0200 - Server Back end is 90% done
0400 - Windows Phone 7 logic is done.
0415 - People who wrote Eclipse must be tied up and beaten.
0500 - Android and WP7 both reading and writing to the Database.
0508 - Done! (well... somewhat.... ) Just minor sms services left... Sleep for 45 minutes. We'll head back and see if anyone needs help.
0600 - Time for a nap
0730 - Crap. Slept too much. - Back to getting SMS to work.
0830 - SMS working. Email Working. Heading back to CNA

The name of the project is "I am..."
The goal of the application is to report and evaluate a given situation reported via a mobile(smart) phone.
A user will create an account on "I am..." server with ICE information such as ICE contact name, contact number, Email, Twitter (etc).
In case of emergency, said user will send out a short burst beacon via a push of a button to server. At that point, notification beacon will
Server will log the beacon and act on the predetermined code. If beacon level is one (I am ok / cancel previous alerts), server will notify the ICE contacts once with "User is OK - Geo location is:x,y" if beacon level is two, the ICE contacts will be notified once an hour until beacon alert is removed by the user. If the alert is not removed with a set time, level is raised to level 3 where the alert notification frequency will increase. The process will repeat until alert is removed.
This will be useful in cases where phone can only be used once (due to dangerous situations) or device failure and ensure that message will be sent out without the need of the phone.
In case extreme mishap (person turned on beacon, phone fell into an ocean, but person is ok, he/she can go to the ICE server site and manually login and turn off the beacon.
Project should be useful for NGO personals in the field, ICRC and local redcross personals, support personals, family and friends, DOD contractors in foreign hostile areas.
