  • Evening pre-meet up from 6.30pm; then heading to the pub

Saturday December 3rd

  • 10am - introducing the challenges; forming teams
  • 12noon - hacking underway
  • Rest of saturday - hacking takes place till late; food provided;

  • 10am - hacking continues
  • 3pm - prepare for show and tell
  • 4pm - demo of creations

At the end of the day, each team will have 5 minutes to present their project, including a demo, if possible. If collaborating with a remote team, please indicate what work was done locally. Presentations may be recorded. After the presentations, a panel of judges will award prizes (donated by our sponsors) according to the RHoK Judging Criteria.

[edit] What to Bring to the Hackathon

  • Laptop, with WiFi.
  • Power cord for your laptop.
  • Any extra extension cords/power strips you might have (outlets will be tight and we don’t want to run out of space for everyone)
  • Headphones (always a good idea if you end up working with audio).
  • Notepads, pens, markers etc. Whatever you like using for notes.
