To enable integration and interoperability between and Google's Resource Finder and standards-supporting systems like the Sahana Eden Hospital Management System (HMS).

• A variety of approaches and tools were used for data cleansing of dirty data that was part of a HEALTHC_ID# field including Google Refine, Notepad++ and Open Office Calc.

[edit] Progress

Day One of RHOK in NYC was spent doing some data cleansing of the Haiti Hospitals data - starting with the Google Fusion table that was created out of the latest Travax Haiti data. In particular, the old HEALTHC_ID# field has been split into two identifiers - the MSPP ID# and a UN P-CODE ID. These are stripped of identifier labels (e.g. "H: " and "P: " such that only the ID remains. One each in its own column... The MSPP ID was supposed to serve as the UUID for reconciling hospital and medical facility data across different systems. Not truly a UUID field as there are several unknowns but it is a starting point again for trying to synchronize records between different systems.

CSV export of Resource-Finder data is currently failing. The Link (lower left of RF screen) results in 500 error. A ticket has been reported to the google appspot issue tracker.

• Analyze the convergence and divergence of the Sahana HMS data model (and EDXL-HAVE) vs. Google Resource Finder/Travax
• Fix CSV export functionality in the Haiti Resource Finder
• Contribute to improvements in HAVE standard through OASIS HAVE subcommittee (Tuesdays at 4 PM EST)
• Explore Tablecast as possible data exchange mechanism between systems
