[edit] Enxuga Enchente (Drying Floods)

[edit] Description

A database of photos, places, geolocations, and other info that could help the authorities or NGOs to act on prevention of floods, landslides and other disasters caused by tropical heavy rain. A point and reward system, integrated to popular social networks, will help gathering and engaging users and creating local groups that can spread the word and prevent damage by natural disasters.

[edit] Plan B

We started to run with two ideas. Plan A was what you saw above, the Enxuga Enchente project and social network tool. The second plan, the one that would involve a hardware-software combination, was regarded as Plan B. It is, however, quite cool and it would do no harm to give at least the initial idea back to the world.

So, please, enjoy the presentation.
