Making Codingforcharity.dk a site for volunteer developers and charity organizations to find each other. We need a page where charity organizations can register and seek for volunteer developers for specific projects or advice in it related matters. We need a module that can facilitate developers from all over the country teaming up and working together.
A charity organization has an it problem that would be too expensive for them to pay for. Therefore they log on to www.codingforcharity.dk and submit their case. A group of developers from an organization or a university sees the case and start solving the problem.
To ensure security problems the organizations will have to register and be screened by the admin of the site. - When an organization has registered they ready to upload cases and problem definitions.
The site will use Creative commons to define the rights of the code produced. A module handling this will be needed.
A module that handles teaming up with others from across the country or world.
The platform will be a central part of rolling our Coding For Charity events in all parts of Denmark.
