From Random Hacks of Kindness
These 'platforms' are ongoing projects that are already developing tools and capabilities in the emergency, disaster and crisis space. The purpose of listing these is two-fold:
- New ideas/projects should investigate the existing capabilities of these projects to see if they already provide something similar - if so, please consider extending and building upon their work.
- These platforms provide good frameworks upon which to develop as base your idea/project rather than building everything from scratch.
